The power units of this series are developed on the basis of modern heavy-duty two-cylinder air-cooled engines (18 HP), which have an extended service life (more than 3000 operating hours). Könner & Söhnen's KS 14 diesel power plant models are equipped with a unique VTS phase switching system suitable for single-phase (230 V) or three-phase (400 V) operation with almost no energy loss. These mini power plants have two types of design: open, equipped with LED display (voltage, frequency, operating time) and closed in a soundproof protective housing with multifunctional controller and remote control.

All power units in this series are suitable for connection to the ATS (automatic transfer switch) system and are equipped with an automatic monitoring system for all key operating status indicators: overload protection, automatic engine stop in case of low oil level, fuel level sensor. The HEAVY DUTY series power units are designed to be used not only as a backup power source but also for continuous operation.

The KS 14-2DE 1/3 ATSR HEAVY DUTY SILENT series diesel generator is a top model in a soundproof, robust housing that also protects the generator from external influences and damage. This series features increased durability, a fuel preheat function and a VTS (phase switch) system for single or three phase operation.

HIGH-PERFORMANCE TWO-CYLINDER ENGINE

High-performance and robust air-cooled two-cylinder four-stroke L-twin engine (21 hp). The engine design is more balanced with two cylinders in series, ensuring reduced generator vibration during operation.

SOUNDPROOF, VANDAL-PROOF HOUSING

The power pack cover is weatherproof, soundproof and resistant to external damage. It effectively protects the equipment and prolongs its service life. The power pack also has an external emergency stop button. The housing is also equipped with wheels and a handle to facilitate the use and transport of the power generator.

ERGONOMIC CONTROL PANEL

The user-friendly ergonomic control panel allows easy control of the entire unit. The generator is suitable for connection of an ATS system (automatic transfer to emergency power) and is equipped with a unique VTS phase switching system for single-phase (230 V) or three-phase (400 V) operation.

3. The multifunction display shows current, frequency, battery voltage, total operating hours (maximum 999 hours), engine and generator temperature. The controller also protects the motor from over- and undervoltage, under- and over-frequency, overload and overheating, which are displayed on the multifunction display.
4. Buttons for switching functions - the displayed parameters can be set by pressing the touch buttons (UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT).
5. The indicator shows low oil pressure when it appears - the engine switches off immediately.

VTS SYSTEM

Universal generators 2-in-1 feature a unique VTS (Voltage Transfer Switch) phase switching system that allows a single generator to be used in both single-phase (230V) and three-phase (400V) modes with virtually no loss of power. Each mode has its own circuit breakers. It is not necessary to buy two separate generators for single-phase and three-phase loads.

Suitable ATS - KS 4/63

The ATS unit (automatic transfer to emergency power) automatically starts the generator and transfers the load when the main power supply is interrupted, and automatically stops the generator when the main power supply is restored.
